# Privacy

I’m Volodymyr Onishchenko, and I run this site.

I use a small set of analytics and diagnostic tools to understand what works and fix what doesn’t. Basic analytics is always on; extra analytics and session recordings are optional.

There are no accounts or user profiles here, and I don’t use analytics to identify you by name or email.

## Analytics

**Basic analytics**

Vercel Analytics, Speed Insights, and Basehub Events stay on whether or not you enable extra analytics. Together, they provide limited information about page views, referrers, approximate location, browser and device information, loading times, and a small number of site interactions. They don’t set analytics cookies or identify you by name or email, and I don’t use them for advertising.

**Extra analytics**

If you say yes, Google Analytics and Hotjar also turn on. They collect more detailed information about visits and interactions. Hotjar may also create session recordings that show how visitors move through and interact with the site.

Google Analytics is loaded through Google Tag Manager. If you choose **Keep it basic**, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Hotjar stay off. You can change this choice at any time in the footer.

## What stays on your device

The site stores a small amount of data on your device, including your extra analytics choice, interface preferences, footer-game progress, offline files, and data needed for essential site functions. This local data remembers your choices and keeps site features working. It isn’t used for advertising.

Your extra analytics choice is kept for six months. If you turn extra analytics on, Google Analytics and Hotjar may also store analytics cookies or related browser data. Other local data remains until it expires or you clear site data.

## Error reports

Sentry helps me find and fix errors and crashes. It receives technical details such as the page where an error happened, browser or device information, and stack traces. I’ve configured Sentry to minimize personal information. Session replay, performance tracing, and application logs are disabled.

Sentry stays on to keep the site reliable, not to profile visitors.

## Services

Vercel and Basehub process basic analytics data. Google and Hotjar process extra analytics data only when you say yes. Sentry processes technical error data. Each service operates under its own privacy terms, and some processing may happen outside your country. I don’t sell personal data or use it for advertising.

## Your choice

The footer switch controls extra analytics only. Basic analytics stays on in both states. You can turn extra analytics on or off at any time. Turning it off stops Google Analytics and Hotjar from collecting new data and clears analytics cookies and related storage controlled by this site. It doesn’t automatically delete extra analytics data or session recordings collected earlier. Clearing site data resets the choice and other local preferences.
